"Federal Archery Grant Update: PUBLIC NOTICE"

Tiger Mountain Center (TMC) and AmaTerra, Environmental Resource Group (ERG) Texas have prepared a Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for public review and comment. The Draft EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the proposed new facility construction within the TMC at 100 Mockingbird Hill, Leander, TX 78641. The proposed action involves the construction, operation and maintenance of an outdoor archery range and parking area for public use. The addition of the proposed facilities will provide the opportunity to develop archery skills in general, and Asiatic Archery, Instinctive Archery, and Korean Traditional Archery specifically.

TMC and Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) will accept public comments for thirty (30) days from the date of this posting ending 11:59 PM May 12th, 2025. Upon the expiration of the comment period, TMC with ERG and TPWD will review and address the public comments in the Draft EA. The Final Environmental Assessment will be submitted to Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) and US Fish and Wildlife Services (USFWS) for their consideration.
